ScandalAnt: Robert Pattinson Confession Posted by ScandalAnt 22 May, 2009 - 7:45 AM

Robert Pattinson is about to meet his biggest and most difficult challenge yet in his mission to remain at the top of the sexy charts.

But first ScandalAnt confesses: I don’t get this growing obsession with him! Even scarier – he’s causing some extreme behaviour among Aussie female friends.

Example: ScandalAnt was  stunned at a comment by ‘T’ in front of her husband, ‘J’ – (names disguised to protect the guilty and innocent) - prompted by my question: “Do you really find him (Pattinson) that sexy?”

“I would shag him (Pattinson) silly in front of [J] and his mother,” came the shocking reply from T.

Perhaps a little concerning then is that Pattinson will be around for longer than first thought, confirming in Cannes this week, he’ll star in a fourth Twilight film.

No amount of broken marriages will stop him increasingly mesmerising the world’s women and there’s signs he’s becoming a greedy guts, by preparing to tap into the global supply of hot men!

ScandalAnt predicts he’ll soon be a gay icon after playing artist Salvador Dali in new flick, Little Ashes, with this same-sex kiss earning his some pink credo.

But Pattinson’s about to face his moment of truth, co-starring in a new upcoming flick Unbound Captives, alongside Aussie Hugh Jackman, the reigning People magazine sexiest man in the world.

Hugh has the body, intelligence, charm, talent and experience to back up his “world’s sexiest man tag” and doesn’t need the help of a book series or a TV/film storyline to be a worthy title-holder.

Will Hugh show up Rob? Will they combine to hijack every hot and eligible man and woman on the planet in a must-see chick flick? Tell us what you reckon

You can't possibly compare the two - Hugh is an older woman's fantasy and Rob is a younger girl's dream guy! Put them both together in a movie and you'll have every woman in the world flocking to see it - especially me!!!

Anna, as a 20 yr old, Hugh Jackman does it for the younger women too!

Rob Pattison is alright, but starred in a movie with no other attractive males - therefore clearly making him look better than he is! Wait for this movie to come out it will show that when compared to Hugh, Rob comes out majorly inadequate!

I reckon that just as quickly as he became an overnight sensation with women, Robert Pattinson will probably lose his exaggerated appeal overnight and the next hot fad will take his place. Hugh Jackman on the other hand hs been bashing away at his career for a while and is just getting into his prime, with his best films to continue a long way down the track. You can't compare the two - one is manufactured by scriptwriters and the other comes from a solid foundation of hard work. All Aussies should be really proud of Hugh's achievements.

I have just finished the twilight books and can hardly wait till November for the release of New Moon so my heart is all a flutter with the thought of an overload of Rob Patterson but I do think that the world has fallen for Edward Cullen not Rob so I wait with baited breath to see him in a different role.

No doubt about it. And no one's about to show anyone up... it's a cooperative lethal combination =D my god...what more can we ask for?

hahahahahah Scandal.. Your friend T sounds very very funny. Dont worry, I would do him in front of anyone as well!
Hugh Jackman is amazing but we need to remember he is older and theremore has a more mature acting ability. I think at 23 Robert has shown us diversity in his acting. Little Ashes is getting rave reviews (it will be released in Oct by the way, according to its Australian based distributors) and he is going to be next in a film called Remember Me.
I think we need to give him time to develop.. remember Harrison Ford was once only known as Hans Solo and Indiana Jones and he has gone onto great things, same for Sean Connery, who was told he would never shake off the 007 stigma.
    Go Team Pattinson!!
