Michael Jackson Planned Australian Tour Music 29 June, 2009 - 10:28 AM

An Australian tour was firmly in the late Michael Jackson's sights, according to the promoters behind his comeback concerts in London.

Randy Phillips, the CEO of AEG Live told the Los Angeles Times that Europe, India, China, Japan, North America and Australia were going tp be graced with Jackson's presence after the London shows.

Mr Phillips also reveals that North America would have been the last stop on the tour, because it was felt that audiences were more "judgemental" than other regions.

Michael Jackson last visited Australia in 1996 on his HIStory tour.

  Is Sydney going to have a memorial/ tribute somewhere on the day Michael gets buried!??? It's a shame we aren't doing something more!

  Michael Jackson was truly the best entertainer ever!!!
  

  He was world famous by the age of 11. No matter how many challenges Michael Jackson went through he still greatly satisfied his audience at the end of the day with a terrific performance and a smiling face.
  

  He was a very talented man and even though he is not here with us right now he will always be in our hearts.
  

  And 1 way or another we have all grown to know and love him LEGENDS NEVER DIE!!!!

  He is the best and most legendary KING of all time.

  I still can't believe he's gone, instead it just feels like a horrible nightmare that i cant escape.

  I do believe that Sydney should have a memorial service... in fact Australia.
  

  Screw what other people think, MJ fans should hold our own memorial for the king in the city and stop traffic if we have to. MJ is worth it.
