Gordon Ramsay's Tracy Grimshaw Comments On Camera Posted by Entertainment Team 9 June, 2009 - 11:59 AM

Potty-mouthed Chef Gordon Ramsay is used to causing controversy;  and audiences certainly seem to love his bad boy image on shows like Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.

His latest antics may have topped it all, but for once Gordon Ramsay has said sorry!

Everyone's talking about the Tracy Grimshaw jokes he made, so we've got our hands some exclusive footage.

It all started on Saturday at Melbourne's Good Food & Wine Show where Ramsay has been appearing in live cooking demonstrations. He started to talk about swine flu, before a strange image of a woman on all fours with multiple breasts was projected behind him. Then an image of Miss Piggy appeared, to which Gordon said "that was a close-up I took yesterday of Tracy Grimshaw."

News reports have suggested that the comment was met with stunned silence by the crowd, but this video seems to show people reacting with laughter.

The video also shows Ramsay saying "it was a joke, what's the matter with you guys this morning?"

Tracy Grimshaw hit back on A Current Affair, saying "He says it was a joke. Well not to me, or anyone who cares about me. Truly I wonder how many people would laugh if they were effectively described as a old, ugly pig. How is that funny exactly?"

Tracy went on to say that she had to speak out against the shock-chef, "I'm not going to sit meekly and let some arrogant narcissist bully me."

She has since accepted Gordon's public apology, but is this just one big publicity stunt?

Would you forgive him? Or do you think Tracy Grimshaw and women in general should be offended by being compared to pigs?

Watch the video and tell us your thoughts!

Tracey Grimshaw you are a disgrace to Australian television as you have misused your role as a news reporter for a desperate grab of ratings and for your own smelly personal issues! I will never watch your joke of a show based on sensationalism trash journalism ever again!!! The ‘Today’ show has also proven that you can’t touch one of ours as they have all as well closed ranks behind Tracey’s fat behind in support! They all together need to bow their heads in shame together with the crew from the ABC, but at least they knew when to give up! This current trash television will be in our faces at least until midday tomorrow unfortunately. I know what you are thinking? Ok, I won’t watch Tracey’s attempt at an informative program … anymore or the Today show for that matter. Instead I will attempt to use my time more productively, like training for a triathlon or learning how to cook a four course meal for 2! Gordon has at least given something back to society. Well Tracey you still have time left to do the same! Go to the Gym and loose that buffalo rear and retire from television all together! And while you are there you can take the one they so call ‘Rove’ as well with you and together do something for this nation… P@%S OFF!!!!! We can clearly see what you are worth out of 10, NOTHING / ZERO, sorry, no Michelin Star for you!

Gordon Ramsay is the pig; any man that needs to be-little a woman to boost his profile/get better ratings etc etc has a small dick...its as simple as that.

Tracy gave him a taste of his own medicine and he's now annoyed she had a 'go at his wife'...hello mate...you can dish it out but you can't take it and that says it all.

Go Tracy!! you are the only decent thing about a current affair, you have worked hard to try and give that sensationalistic crap tv show some integrity and you have a great personality and as you said, you are usually a good sport on most things.

this time you had a right to be upset.
Time for this country to start treating women with respect...when will we get it?

    ha.
i think this serves Tracey right after the attack she laid on Gordon on the ACA interview, clearly he was strongly offended that he was made a fool of in her interview in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
and in my opinion, resembling Tracey Grimshaw to miss piggy was quite funny, although extremely un-witty.

I was at the Friday show where Gordon Ramsay was speaking, and I found nothing offensive about the jokes he made. I took videos of most of the show, and looking at them again, there was no mention of her being a "Lesbian". I think Gordon took the piss out her with a few jokes, because she asked about his private life the night before. This interview would no doubt have included questions about his "Affair". I just hope, this doesn't effect his decision to come back for future Good Food & Wine Shows. Gordon, was just being Gordon.

I understand that Gordon Ramsay meant it as a joke but I agree it was done in bad taste. I would be offended if someone made that joke about me too. Bad joke that one! On the other hand I do think Tracey has over reacted and the media has hyped it up to be more of a deal than it is. I also watch Gordon on Rove Sunday Night and thought he was arrogant, rude and offensive towards Rove. I also thought Rove did a damn good job of standing up to him and was able to give as good as he got! Gordon Ramsay should go back to where he came from. He is not welcome here as far as I am concerned. He is a big headed, foul mouthed, arrogant PRICK!
