If you haven’t heard of the television show The Voice, it’s a US talent show (yes apparently there aren’t enough on prime time television) but it has a twist. The judges are expected to judge competitors with their backs turned and purely on talent, not on appearance.

Even more excitingly, the rumoured judges for the Australian version include our very own Delta Goodrem (who’s been flying under the radar for quite some time now), Keith Urban and international stars Seal and Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden!

At face value, The Voice seems like a fairer concept but if you think about it stage presence and charisma plays a huge part in being a great performer... I suppose they are relying on the judges to teach the contestants that bit later – let’s hope they choose wisely then!
