Coming to a store near you soon - a commercial jet pack is set to go on sale. New Zealand-based Martin Aircraft Company is aiming to make 500 jet packs available every year, allowing people to fly high at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour - without the need for a licence. The 200 horsepower dual-propeller packs were created by inventor Glenn Martin, who unveiled his device in 2009. But it won't come cheap - it's expected to go on sale for $80,000. CEO Richard Lauder claims the pack could be perfect for the emergency services, private users and even the military. He says, "This could be life-saving stuff. For us this is an excellent commercial step." (Photos: WENN)
