What are the rules for Bagsing someone you like?  If you see someone you're keen on and 'bags' them how long does your bagsing last?  Also, can you claim a bags in retrospect?  Let us know all the rules you have with your friends.

  The main rule is once you say the word "Bagsy" the other person has to wait until you've have finished saying what it is you've bagsyed. I've been playing by this rule for nearly thirty years...

  I'm afraid that once you bags something, that will only last a short amount of time. So for instance, if you bags a girl, once she becomes available and you don't immediately go for her, she's fair game for whoever you bagsed her over. So it's like if you were first at the gravy chip waiting line, if when the doors open, and you've gone to the bathroom, to bad.

  You have to act fast or it seems like you aren't really interested in whatever you've bagsied.

  Bagsing begins at soon as a declaration of competition between two or more parties is announced. The person who has established investment is given first preference bagsing rights. The bagsing may become void if the person of interest begins to show obvious affection for the none-bagser. Certain criteria may disqualify a person from bagsing ie previous and substantial failure to obtain affection, extreme lack of potential (due to severe 'out of your league syndrome), marriage, excessively long friendship/platonic relationship (unless it can be established that the lack of progress was calculated as a master game plan). I think that the person who bagser should be afforded every opportunity to obtain their mission objective. Consideration must be given to people who are late bloomers ie. people who require more time to win the affection of a girl. If you are quick off the mark then there is no disadvantage for having an 'buffer' period of time to give others a fair go. Many girls have initially been uninterested by have later come around. 30 day period or one month is reasonable, during such time all none-bagser’s must not pursue the person of interest and must respond minimally to her attempts of communication in order to provide maximum chance to the bagser. If two people go for the same girl at the same time then an 'Obama vs Clinton' scenario emerges where the least popular candidate has to bow out as soon as it is evident that they are least favoured. There can be no secret attempts to win affection or undermine the bagser. A betrayed bagser has the right to sabotage any betrayers relationship using whatever means are available.

  there is also another thing to be thought about in the bagsy situation.

  say sarah got baggsed by paul.
  but sarah wants to go out with simon.
  when does simon get to have his go with sarah, if paul has baggsed her but has no chance.
  why does sarah have to miss out.

  is there exception rules.

  or does this then bring another point to the table - does simon need to tell sarah, the reason he didnt have a crack is because of the baggsing.

  I'm with Murf, bagseys are not a really short period of time as with when you bags a girl. Me and my mates usually have it last a fortnight then shes fair game
