Porching!
Hamish & Andy 22 July, 2008 - 4:34 PM
Hamish has revealed that he is a self-confessed amatuer porcher!
Porching is the sporting sitting on your balcony/porch and just watching the world go by.
Are you a porcher? Do you know a porcher? Do you have any rules for porching?

There are no rules when porching. Although a handy hint is a few beers make it more entertaining for you and your neighbours.

Definitely a porcher. Must have a drink of some sort in hand & a comfy chair. It's amazing how often 'moments of clarity' happen when porching.

Hey guys,
I think that there is absolutely nothing wrong with porching =] Yes, my grandparents will go and porch, but I'll porch with them! I agree that its just something calm and relaxing to do than worrying about doing something else.I don't really have any rules if I do it by myself, but I would prefer next to or no talking at all.
It just makes it calmer =]

Not a porcher myself as i am 17 and don't have a porch, but my uncle is a big porcher and always gives a nod to people that walk by the front of his house...

Its better than TV! So stop teasing Hamish....there should be a porching club -

I totally defend Hamish's desire to porch. It is peaceful and it makes you feel like you're not being a couch potato...more of a porch potato...but still...
I don't get to porch...because I've never lived in a place with a decent porch. And I live in the 'burbs, where the neighbours might think I was weird because they're the only people I can possibly watch...
But I like to holiday-porch.
It's awesome.http://www.chunkzoflife@blogspot.com

Porching is a very elegant sport. You don't sweat but you still need skills to do it properly! So go Hamish!!!
