Thankyou safm for allowing me to get my story out there and thankyou to all my friends, family and complete strangers for your caring and positive support. I am so pleased to see that it has made others like myself kick into action and do a first aid course. Well done. Regards Sharee

This story really hit me, my boy is the same age as Sheree's and the thought of this happening is just heartbreaking, I've been in tears listening to it. As she said you think softer foods and the like are safe, but you can never be too careful I suppose. My best wishes are with Sheree's family, I think we've all learnt a lot from this, thank you for sharing your experience Sheree, it may just save some lives...

hearing this story gives that sickening feeling again. one of my girls inhaled a piece of lollypop and i was lost. if it wasn't for my wife i thinks i may have lost her. Every parent should make themselves aware of how to deal with this things. I am really happy Sharee gets the chance to be prepared if theres a next time
