Hi as a player from callington we could us some more gym equipment. I have travelled up for ten years now & almost 150 games. Without question fitness & training together is our problem. I have never had doubt about desire or passion. It's a great club & will fight on forever!

My son Corey(no.50) plays A grade for Callington and Bgrade as needed. He loves the team and the club atmosphere and will try to get to 2training sessions a week-work permitting-and he lives at Victor Harbor. He travels nearly 2hrs to a game away Kersbrook or MtPleasant and 2hrs back stiff sore and a little dejected but is back there again for the next weeks game. What a Trooper. GO EAGLES.

I was brought up around the Murray Bridge Redlegs football club who got flogged practically every week! That was until the local league decided they no longer wanted us around and the club got shut down. The players from our club ended up all over the place however Callington is where many of them have eventually ended up and despite losing every week, the atmosphere there is fantastic and I love the way they stick together!!! Good work guys and best of luck for this wkend :)

All footy clubs rely mainly on fundraising so what a shame this wasn't planned for a Callington home game. They could have done some massive fundraising (the BBQ and bar) and then could have bought some of the gym equipment needed to improve there fitness levels. Meanwhile go Callington, we will try and get to the game.

I am a player of the Callington Football Club in the A Grade. Saturday is going to be huge, not just for Callington but for Echunga. Think about how many people are going to go through the gate and the food, drinks that are going to be sold on saturday and all going to benefit the Echunga football club. Its going to be almost as big as a grandfinal. Just hope going to be able to get a park on saturday. Go you Eagles. We wil score a goal or two on saturday I know we can if we put our minds on the job at hand.

Callington United Eagles are very close to my heart. I have been involved since their first training session in 1995 and my son Chris (Spider) was the first senior player to play 100 games. I was Club President in 2000 & 2001 and my late husband Dave was Club Treasurer and A Grade Team Manager for many years. Losing the Eagles would be heart-wrenching.
