PREMIER Mike Rann has released a statement in regards to allegations he had sex with a married Parliament House staffer. Rann has said reports that he had a sexual relationship with Michelle Chanetlois are "totally false". The accusations were aired on Channel 7's Sunday Night program last night.
Should Mike Rann step down? Do you think she was right speak out? We'd love to hear your thoughts on the issue.

If Mike Rann was the normal joe blow we would not be hearing about it, I think her and her husband thought they would make money out of it and it would not surprise me if her husband put her up to it for a quick buck.

Why would Mike Rann be any less of a leader because of this... my god if every person who had affairs had to lose their job becase o it the work force would be a very very small place I am guessing.
As for because he is a politician and should be seting an example...piffle...there is no way you could fill parliament house with members who have NO dirt in their backgrounds, its just how well it gets hidden.
Keep up the good work Mike. -

I thinks it pretty obvious what has been going on, only now after 15 year we can now see the 'real' Mike Rann. The carefully crafted statements can be seen from miles away and I think if one citizen can trust Rann with his wife then none of us can trust him with the State.
Mike Rann has mislead us at best and lied at worst, this woman is obvious no angel but I have no doubt Mike has been looking after Number 1 all the way!

Did anyone hold a gun to her head. She knew what she was doing without a thought for her husband and family.Obviously she does not know the word NO.She had a choice and she chose the wrong one now she is looking for sympathy. She needs to get a life and take responsibility for her own actions and not expect everyone else to feel sorry for her.

I reckon judgement should be reserved for when the full story is told which will NEVER happen in public, however, If one does reach a conclusion, try and realise that it will be based on assumptions so be OBJECTIVE. This INCIDENT happened when he was a single man. IT definitely takes two to tango but, IF HE KNEW THAT SHE WAS MARRIED,THEN HE GETS PART OF THE BLAME, IF HE DID NOT KNOW SHE WAS MARRIED, HE PROB THOUGHT, 2 MATURE, CONSENTING ADULTS HAVING A GOOD TIME......NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT....ON THE OTHER HAND, she KNEW she was married, she should have and COULD have said NO and chose not to do so!!

How ridiculous, embarrassing and undignified is she??? She obviously doesn't care about the effect this will have on her children. If you can't resist the urge to commit adultery, at least be mature enough to keep it private and discreet.
