This morning we talked to Shane Warne and found out he grew up with Amber!

The pair caught the same bus to high school and revealed they had a crush on each other...

Back in 1985, while Banarama were at their peak, there was one famous Australian, that had not quite reached his peak. It was none other than Shane Warne, the spin king himself, and I can say that although not a famous cricketer at that point, me as a 15 year old could see enormous potential in him anyway. In fact so much so that I had a big crush on him. We used to catch the same bus to school each day, and I would get so excited, and a little nervous every time the bus would approach his stop. I was way too shy to say hello to him so I just pretended that he didn't exist until I got to school and then of course spent more than the odd lesson, swinging back on my chair boring my friends to tears talking about my 'future boyfriend'! I did hear at one point that he had a bit of a crush on me too but nothing ever ended up happening, as I ended up hanging out (as friends) with his brother Jason, and it would have all been a bit awkward. Plus I had a premonition one day that Shane was going to be a famous cricketer one day, and that if I was his girlfriend I would be too much of a distraction and his career would be ruined before it even started. Well, maybe I made that last bit up, but in reality, that's possibly how it could have played out.
