(Getty Images)Britney Spears is looking a million bucks …literally! The starlet has been working hard to reclaim her former glory bangin’ beach body. But it has come at a hefty price; Brit has reportedly spent a massive $350, 000 getting into shape!
We all saw the pop princess dive into a spiral of bad choices after her meltdown in 2007, and her fitness and health was noticeably being neglected. Brit used to love indulging in chocolates, munching on potato chips, and eating out at Maccas and Starbucks. But this 27 year old is finally ready to show the world what she used to be made of and gain that idealistic Hollywood image for which she was once so famous for.
A small fortune is a bit of an understatement for what Brit has reportedly spent on this make-over, but it does make one ponder…how does a third of a million dollars get you into shape? Ms Spears used the money to invest in a home gym, a personal trainer, dietary products, and a little nip and tuck.
But all the money in the world won’t shed kilo’s unless you put a bit of effort in as well. Brit’s been sweating it out 5 days a week at the gym, combining cardio and weights including ab sessions of up to a thousand tummy crunches a day.
The singing sensation has also been very strict with her diet. She follows a 1,200 calorie a day diet which allows for absolutely no sugar, including sugar found in fruit. Breaky includes egg whites, and throughout the day other meals include chicken, salmon, turkey and rice.
Overall, Brit's health and fitness is on the right track. But you don’t need all the money in the world to get into shape …just be wise with what you put into your mouth, and exercise regularly.
